Description
Algonquin Provincial Park, established in 1893 is the oldest provincial park in Canada and one of the most popular parks in Ontario. The park covers an area of about 2,995 sq. miles (7,653 sq. km.) with over 2400 lakes and 1,200 km. of streams and rivers within its boundaries. In late September and early October the fall colors are spectacular especially the brilliant reds and scarlet colors of the sugar maple. This image was photographed with a Canon 5D, Mark III.
