Description
Situated on the bank of the River Thames, in the City of Westminster, the Gothic architecture of the British Houses of Parliament stands out as one of London's most famous landmarks. The bell tower on the north end of the complex, houses five bells. The four smaller bells strike a chime every quarter hour while the largest bell, The Great Bell of Westminster, more commonly known as Big Ben, strikes the hours. This photograph was taken from the London Eye.

V/F I love this! You perch on the London was perfect for getting this most outstanding image of the parliament buildings. the lighting and the clouds make thisimage the best i have seen. The details are great along with all the interesting elements in the frame. I love the color from the train on the bridge. The bridge makes a very nice lead into the image and the bright colors lead the eye right to it. I like the fact that you captured the boat in the corner. I could just go on and on about the qualities of this image!
