This magnificent bull elk must stay alert to protect his harem during the rutting season in Yellowstone National Park. He keeps a watchful eye on competitors who would love nothing more than to lure one or two of his companions away.

I'm a retired teacher living in Southern Ontario, Canada. I worked 35 years full time and 10 years part time as a classroom teacher and guidance counselor with the Peel District School Board. I also worked part time in the Faculties of Education of York University and the University of Toronto in their Additional Qualifications Programs.
