Description
The Palm Warbler (Setophaga palmarum) is a small bird belonging to the family of “New World Warblers”. During migration like the bird in this image, Pine Warblers tend to forage for insects and berries in weedy fields and fence rows. One of their identifying features is their constant tail bobbing leading some people to refer to them as a wagtail warbler or a tip-up warbler. They breed in the far north of the boreal forest.
