Look at the magnificent wing span here! I love the use of the fence as a natural frame for the photo

Artist's Description

The Snowy Owl ( bubo scandiacus), also known as the Arctic Owl or Great White Owl, breeds in the Arctic tundra. These heavy set owls stand about 53 to 65 cm.( 20" to 25") in height with a wingspan from 125 to 150 cm. ( 50" - 60"). These owls are diurnal, hunting during both daytime and nighttime hours. This makes them relatively easy to photograph.
Photographed on Wolfe Island with a Canon 5D Mark III.
