These mammals are exceptional runners and jumpers reaching speeds of nearly 60 km. and hour with the remarkable ability of making vertical leaps of over two and a half metres and horizontal leaps of nine metres. I'm a retired teacher living in Southern Ontario, Canada. I worked 35 years full time and 10 years part time as a classroom teacher and guidance counselor with the Peel District School Board.
