Artist's Description

Once in decline as a result of habitat loss, bluebirds are making a comeback thanks to nesting boxes that have been erected on country properties, conservation areas and along country roads. Young from the first broods usually leave their parents in summer, while the young from later nests often stay with their parents over the winter.
