The Prairie Ragwort is a biennial, drought resistant plant with bright daisy like flowers that grow in flat-topped clusters in late spring to early summer. The name ragwort is a combination of the word "rag" and "wort" and archaic word meaning plant.

About Gary Hall
I'm a retired teacher living in Southern Ontario, Canada. I worked 35 years full time and 10 years part time as a classroom teacher and guidance counselor with the Peel District School Board. I also worked part time in the Faculties of Education of York University and the University of Toronto in their Additional Qualifications Programs.
