Description
The Eastern Wood Peewee (contopus virens) is a small, fairly common, North American tyrant flycatcher that forages for insects on the wing. They have a distinct pee-a-wee call which is usually heard before the bird is seen. A group of pewees is collectively referred to as a "dribble" or "squirt" of peewees.
