Description
Probably one of the most common gulls you will see along the coasts and inland waters of North America, these scavengers are often found around parking lots, garbage dumps, beaches and fields, sometimes by the hundreds searching for easy food. In the late nineteenth century, these gulls were hunted for their plumage, but after the decline of the feather trade, Ring-billed Gulls flourished resulting in a population explosion today.
