Description
Sandhill Cranes (Grus Canadensis) are tall stately birds with brilliant red crowns. During migration, hundreds of thousands of these birds congregate at the Platte River on the edge of Nebraska's sandhills. These birds were photographed at Ontario's Long Point where several pairs breed during the spring.
