Description
This is a scanned image from a slide I took a few years ago. Occasionally you might come across a trillium that is green in color. Although these trilliums are unique and beautiful in their own right, they are in fact diseased white trilliums, infected with parasitic mycoplasmas that cause the greening. These mycoplasmas will lead to a deformity of the flower and leaves and eventually death of the plant.

Pretty image...but sorry to read about it's plight in your description. You've some of the excellent nature-shots in your portfolio, Gary! Wish you good luck in life.

Beautiful image Gary! Quite disturbing about the cause of the greening. Thanks for the information.
